Isaac's Media World

A Journey Through the Fundamental Nature of Audio and Visual Excellence

or,

Aesthetics:  By Isaac
While the rest of this site focuses on the written word and public relations aspect of the life of Isaac M. McPhee, one must be very careful not to paint him with broad brush strokes.  For his is a life of diversity and of nuance.  The written word is not the entirety of his life.  Rather, it is just a single facet on a valuable gem - a precious stone of unique proportion and clarity.

To look only at the writings of Isaac and think that he can be thus labeled or defined, is to overlook his broad and compelling contributions to the world of Music and of the Visual Arts.

The Music of Isaac

Isaac was a founding membor of the folk-rock-pop-punk duo, "Cross Eyed Ben" in the early 2000's.  While mainstream airplay may have eluded them throughout the majority of their career, they became a hit in the underground (that is, highly-discerning) music community, releasing three full-length albums which covered a wide variety of musical genres.

Isaac the Actor
Yes, you read that right.  Isaac did indeed do his share of acting back in his day.  You may or may not remember him from a little commercial he did back in '07 for Magic the Gathering.  If you can't remember that far back, it's posted here for your viewing pleasure. (That's Isaac on the upper left toward the end of the commercial)
